| Some of my first research was done at the Hawaii State Archives. I selected images representing the monarchy and had them hand-tinted by Annie Rogers. Annie teaches photography at Hawaii School for Girls, and although her students learn to master Photoshop, Annie colors my images by hand. The King Kalakaua collection seen here is published in school textbooks that teach Hawaii's children about the monarchy. | |||||||||||
